The workspace and its facilities
This coworking space occupies a renovated heritage building on Eighth Avenue, featuring original jarrah floors, high pressed-metal ceilings, and large sash windows. The flexible office space is divided into a front-of-house coffee shop and lounge, a central hot-desking zone with 10 workstations, and two private offices at the rear. Natural light floods the main area through the street-facing windows, supplemented by pendant lighting in the evenings. The workspace provides hot desks with timber tops, ergonomic chairs, and under-desk power outlets. Members access a 12-person boardroom with a 65-inch 4K display, a 4-person meeting room, and a flexible event space for up to 20 people. Eighth Avenue forms the retail and dining spine of Maylands town centre, with this address between Whatley Crescent and Railway Parade. The Maylands train station is 250 metres south-west, a 3-minute walk via Eighth Avenue and Whatley Crescent, providing direct services to Perth CBD (4 stops, 10 minutes). Bus stops on Eighth Avenue serve routes 42, 45, 47, and 48 to Perth, Morley, and Galleria. Street parking is available on Eighth Avenue with a 2-hour limit; free all-day parking is located on adjoining side streets. The Maylands Waterland, a public swimming pool, is 600 metres north-west on Clarkson Road. Three cafes – Mary Street Bakery, Little Banksia, and Mrs S – operate within 150 metres.
