The workspace and its facilities
Large windows and elevated city views shape the workplace on Level 10 of 418Apex, a commercial tower originally built in 1974 and designed by Peddle Thorpe Walker. The building has undergone a substantial transformation into a contemporary workplace, while its established tower form remains part of the character of Elizabeth Street. The Level 10 accommodation combines shared work areas, private offices and meeting rooms with communal breakout settings, a business lounge and kitchen and dining facilities. Workspace layouts range from individual workstations to enclosed rooms and larger collaborative areas, allowing different working patterns within the same floor. Meeting and boardroom facilities provide more formal settings, while quieter private suites offer separation from the shared areas. Views across the surrounding city give the upper-floor interiors a distinctly urban outlook.

The location
Surry Hills forms a dense inner-city district immediately south-east of Sydney's central business area, with Elizabeth Street running through a mixed commercial and residential streetscape. Around 418A, older terraces and established commercial properties sit alongside refurbished workplaces, hospitality venues and newer developments, giving the area a varied architectural character. Central Station lies a short walk from the building, while light rail services operate nearby, providing established connections across the inner city. The surrounding streets contain a concentration of cafés, restaurants, bars, creative businesses, professional offices and local retail. Crown Street, Devonshire Street and the broader Central precinct contribute to the area's active pedestrian environment. The combination of long-established neighbourhood fabric and increasingly sophisticated commercial premises gives this part of Surry Hills a distinctly urban, mixed-use identity.
