The city is also the largest financial centre in continental Europe and ranks among the world’s leading financial hubs, with the Frankfurt Stock Exchange one of the globe’s largest by market capitalisation. Due to its central location in Germany, and in Europe as a whole, Frankfurt is a major air, rail and highway transport hub.
