Historic architecture defines the setting at Am Gestade 3. The property is a Renaissance Bürgerhaus dating from the second half of the 16th century, with a documented predecessor on the site by 1381. The building retains a number of characteristic historic elements, including a structured plaster façade, stone-framed windows, a substantial cornice, a steep roof form and distinctive double gables. Inside, the entrance area features cross-ribbed vaulting and a stone spiral staircase. The property underwent repairs after wartime damage and partial alterations during a comprehensive renovation in 1973, particularly at ground-floor level.
