The workspace and its facilities
This coworking space occupies a ground-floor suite at the rear of a light-industrial complex on Leda Drive. The rectangular floor plan is divided into an open-plan area with 8 hot desks along the window wall and two glass-enclosed private offices at the back. The flexible office space features polished concrete floors, exposed timber trusses, and whitewashed brick walls, creating a coastal-industrial aesthetic. Natural light enters through a full-width glass roller door and a row of clerestory windows facing the internal courtyard. The workspace provides sit-stand desks with integrated power and USB ports, ergonomic mesh chairs, and a communal table for 6 people near the kitchenette. A dedicated podcast booth with soundproofing sits in the north-east corner. The kitchenette includes a bar fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and filtered water tap. A breakout lounge with modular sofas faces a television screen mounted on the feature wall. Ceiling fans and split-system air conditioning maintain comfortable temperatures year-round.
The location
Leda Drive runs parallel to the Gold Coast Highway, 400 metres inland from Burleigh Headland. This address sits between Kortum Drive and West Burleigh Road, a 5-minute walk (350 metres) east to the beach and Burleigh Heads National Park. Free on-site parking is available for members in the shared lot, with additional 2-hour street parking on Leda Drive. The nearest bus stop is on the Gold Coast Highway, 150 metres west, served by Translink routes 700, 753, 754, and 760 to Broadbeach, Tweed Heads, and Varsity Lakes. Varsity Lakes railway station is 5 kilometres south-west, a 10-minute drive or a 35-minute bus ride. Three cafes—The Paddock, Lord's Cafe, and Social Brew—operate within 300 metres of James Street. An IGA supermarket and a pharmacy are 400 metres north on West Burleigh Road. Surf clubs and patrolled beaches are accessible via Leda Drive east to the Esplanade.
