1. Tell us a little bit about yourself
I came to Instant Offices with experience in residential property investment, prior to which I had held a variety of sales roles in luxury retail space. My lifetime hobby has always been performing arts though, which led to me gaining my degree in Drama.
2. What is your role at Instant Offices? What does it entail?
I am an Account Manager for the UK market. I work very closely with a number of partners who we assist to help find their clients office space. I help the clients directly and look to find the best option in the flexible office market for their business.
3. Why do you enjoy working for Instant Offices?
I think the best thing about working for Instant Offices is the fast paced environment. You are always busy and never bored. You are also rewarded well for your success, which makes you want to do more for the business.
4. What are the most commonly asked questions in your line of work?
‘What is included in my rent?’ For many businesses, getting a fully equipped office space is a must. It allows them to work and function without the stress of dealing with multiple service providers. For example, our operators’ range of serviced office space caters for both small, growing businesses and large corporations. Another question I get asked a lot is, ‘what do you charge for your service?’ Many people who enquire do not realise that we are a free service for tenants, enabling them to have whole market coverage with less hassle.
5. What do you love about the city you work in?
London is unlike any other city in the world. As a born and bred country girl, I love the hustle and bustle of the city. You can walk around a corner and discover something new every day.
6. What are the main trends you have seen in the industry since you joined Instant Offices?
The main trend I have noticed has to be how different the markets are in the major cities compared to the smaller regional areas. Availability and demand in the main cities is constantly changing week to week, making it a very exciting market to work in, whereas the regions tend to have a more predictable ebb and flow of availability.
