The need to differentiate has become crucial as competition becomes more fierce in the flexible workspace market. From free beer and exercise space to data management, AI expertise and a myriad of other add-ons, operators are offering a broader selection of additional services than ever before to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Of the 500 respondents surveyed, 52% were from the corporate sector, with 34% from small to medium businesses and 13% from start-ups. The percentage of younger occupants who responded to the survey was highest at 40%, compared to 19% of those over 45, which is an indication of how popular co-working and flexible office space is to the 25-35-year-old demographic across Asia-Pacific.
