Why should you choose office space in Qatar?
While Qatar remains a global leader in the production of oil and gas, its government is actively encouraging diversification of the market. The result is Qatar’s evolution from an exclusively industrial hub, to a location ripe with opportunity for new businesses and startups.

Looking for a territory offering exceptional growth potential? During the recent global economic crisis, Qatar was the fastest growing economy in the world. A testament to the stability and resilience of its markets. The country’s economic growth is certainly under no risk of waning in the near future too, having been earmarked to host the football World Cup in 2022, and thanks in no small part to the implementation of the Qatar National Vision for 2030. The latter is a government-driven diversification and growth-centred development plan, which is set to transform Qatar’s economic landscape by 2030.

Qatar is the UK’s third largest export market in the entire Middle East and North Africa region, with the total value of exports growing well in excess of 10%, year on year, since 2013. Major exports to the region include luxury goods, food and clothing, as well as machinery and cars. With a Qatar’s rapidly growing population, these markets are set to continue to grow, creating yet more opportunities for new businesses within its borders.

For foreign businesses establishing themselves in Doha, Instant’s specialist local consultants recommend West Bay, as the most iconic and westernised area in a very traditional country.

Costs

Prices for serviced office space start at around QAR 5,000 – 6,000 per person. The prices will vary according to location and requirements, but are inclusive of amenities. These may include internet, meeting rooms, IT and administrative support, lounges and kitchens, car parking, videoconferencing and AV equipment, among others.

Office Sizes

A significant proportion of our clients opt for relatively small spaces – one to three desks – as many corporations start out with a limited number of people when establishing themselves in Qatar. That said, the range of office space available in major cities is very diverse and we are easily able to accommodate operations of almost any size.

Dominic needed to source a suitable office for his start-up in Marylebone (London, UK) that could accommodate his 4 employees as well as cater for any growth in the future.

Lucy helped him secure an ideal space within two weeks, on a 12-month flexible term, in a location perfect for his business.

Lucy Ruff has been a lifesaver over the last month or so. We needed to find some office space in Marylebone (London, UK) and I was worried it was going to take up so much of our precious early start-up hours – but no! Lucy called me within minutes of pressing ‘go’ on Instant Offices, talked through our needs and had sent over potentials for us to view within the same day. One of the two options we ended up choosing and I can only put that down to her understanding of our needs and her understanding of the market. Painless process successfully navigated with only a few minutes of my time. Absolute star!
