In fact, most employees are actually looking forward to AI assisting them more around the office.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #b4d236;\">Industries Embracing AI<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs.com\/artificial-intelligence-to-have-dramatic-impact-on-business-by-2020\">By 2020<\/a>, almost a third of companies believe AI\u2019s greatest impact will be in sales, marketing or customer service. Furthermore, 20% of companies surveyed felt it would be in non-customer facing functions including finance, strategic planning, HR and corporate development.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.indeed.co.uk\/2017\/11\/09\/928\/\">Indeed<\/a>, these are the top five tasks people are most comfortable with being automated:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Job search assistance, 35%<\/li>\n<li>News reporting, 33%<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare support, 25%<\/li>\n<li>Finance management, 24%<\/li>\n<li>Driving vehicles, 23%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Investment in AI tech across all sectors has grown significantly in the past few years, up from $282 million in 2011 to $2.4 billion in 2015. As of 2016, this amount rose by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2016\/06\/investors-are-backing-more-AI-startups-than-ever-before\">another $1.5 billion<\/a>\u00a0invested in more than 200 AI-focussed companies.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.tcs.com\/artificial-intelligence\/\">Global Trend Survey of Artificial Intelligence<\/a> surveyed the use of AI in 13 industries and found insurance, consumer packaged goods, and high tech\u00a0outspent others.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automotive<\/strong> &#8211; 90% of automotive participants say they use AI today, with an additional 10% saying they plan to incorporate AI by 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Banking and Finances<\/strong> &#8211; According to the survey, most businesses in this sector made use of AI to deter security breaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Consumer Packaged Goods<\/strong> &#8211; According to the survey, consumer packaged goods companies spent the most on AI in 2015, gaining 12% in revenue and 12% cost savings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Energy<\/strong> &#8211; In the energy sector, employee training is key to AI project success.
