The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manpowergroup.com\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/660ebf65-144c-489e-975c-9f838294c237\/MillennialsPaper1_2020Vision_lo.pdf?MOD=AJPERES\" target=\"_blank\">report<\/a> aimed to find out how different they are from the rest of the workforce, which development opportunities they are motivated by, and why they choose to stay with employers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The nature of millennials:<\/strong>\u00a0They\u00a0exist in a fast-paced world, and their work expectations aren\u2019t much different \u2013 they want a career that offers variety and quick progression.<\/p>\n<h2>Millennials are positive about their careers<\/h2>\n<p>Does this positivity stem from their generational attributes of being innovative, digitally diverse and entrepreneurial, allowing them to explore any avenue to reach success in the event of unemployment, or are millennials naive about what it means to survive in the workplace?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2\/3 are hopeful about their current employment prospects<\/li>\n<li>62% are optimistic that if they lost their main source of income, in three months they could find <em>equally good<\/em> if not <em>better<\/em> work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Millennials are an extremely hard-working generation, already working harder than any of the generations before them.
