We're proud to announce
that Instant are one of the key corporate supporters of the StartUp Britain
campaign which provides free advice to new entrepreneurs and businesses.
Instant’s founder and CEO, Rob Hamilton
says: “This is a truly innovative way to support the growth of new enterprise
and we are delighted to be part of the campaign. Finding an office or working
out where to locate can often be a difficult decision for new start-ups, and
Instant are happy to be able to offer free advice that may alleviate some of
that particular headache. By using the private sector to support new
enterprise, we can reduce the costs to the taxpayer, but more importantly, new
start-ups can be confident that the advice they get is based on real experience
and understanding of the issues.”
The StartUp Britain campaign is
a response from the private sector to the Government’s call for an
‘enterprise-led’ recovery, in which the private sector takes on some of the
responsibility for educating and inspiring the next generation of
entrepreneurs. It is designed to promote and accelerate the growth and
development of small businesses and has the full backing of David Cameron and
the Government.
The official launch of StartUp
Britain took place on March 28th at Microsoft's Victoria headquarters, attended
by the Prime Minister, the Chancellor George Osborne and the Business Secretary
Vince Cable. Rob Hamilton from Instant was there as one of the corporate
supporters.
The initiative will use the
enormous pool of entrepreneurial expertise available in Britain to point start
up companies in the right direction for success. The StartUp Britain website
provides a ‘living marketplace’ for help and advice to people who are thinking
about setting up a new business, or those who may be struggling to get off the
ground.
