Instant has contributed to a totally new survey to the Actium Consult Total Office Cost Survey (TOCS) and for the first time, occupiers will be able to compare the cost of an office acquisition on a serviced basis with a traditional self delivery basis. The survey found that on a straight cost comparison with TOCS, serviced offices are good value.

The Total Office Cost Survey 2010 (TOCS) is now in its 13th edition. It is well established as the leading survey of its type. The basic premise of TOCS is that a hypothetical occupier can look at TOCS and be accurately informed as to what the total annual cost liability will be in any one of 50 UK office locations. TOCS is based on independent data provided by leading service providers in the office sector and on detailed output specifications which are in accordance with the Total Occupancy Cost Code.
