Rob Hamilton, Founder and CEO of Instant Offices, has been shortlisted as a regional
finalist in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards 2009.
The prestigious awards recognise the passion and drive
behind entrepreneurial businesses across all sectors. Rob will be judged by an
independent judging panel of well-respected business leaders and peers based on
qualities such as entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and global impact. This
year judges will be taking into account the ability of finalists to lead, adapt
and continue to flourish in today’s challenging economic climate.
Instant Offices will be competing for the title of
‘Ernst & Young London & South Entrepreneur Of The Year’ with other
leading entrepreneurs from successful businesses, including Lovefilm, Betfair,
Game Group and Pimlico Plumbers. The winners will be announced at an event in London in June and will go on to compete with business
leaders from across the UK
for ‘Ernst & Young Overall UK Entrepreneur Of The Year’ later on in the
year.
Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year award is
the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. Established in
the 1980s, the awards celebrate people who build and lead successful, growing
and dynamic businesses in more than 135 cities in 50 countries.
Iain Wilkie, partner and London Entrepreneur Of The
Year leader at Ernst & Young, said: “The finalists are all outstanding
entrepreneurs who are growing market share and succeeding despite the worst
economic conditions in living memory.
“These London
entrepreneurs and the businesses they lead will be in the vanguard in driving
our economy out of recession.
“For policy makers, encouraging our entrepreneurs to
lead innovative new businesses forward is critical to boosting the economy. It
has never been more important for government to support the achievements of our
UK
entrepreneurial community.”
Rob Hamilton, Founder and CEO of Instant Offices, commented, “I am delighted and
honored to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. I’m very proud of
Instant Offices both in terms of the successful business that it undoubtedly
is, and also in terms of the people who make it that success. From the earliest
days, I have recruited only the most professional, driven and committed people
and this is clearly the right strategy. We look forward to further growing the
business and indeed the market for flexible offices at large over the coming
years.”
