Rob Hamilton pedals to France for charity!

Rob Hamilton, Instant's founder, is looking forward to a 230 mile endurance bicycle ride to Paris with 45 friends and colleagues to raise money for the charity 1 more child! Testing both mental and physical strength, they will set off from Buckinghamshire hoping to reach Brighton on day one to take the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe, pass through northern France on day two and finally arrive in Paris on day three.

1morechild is a Ugandan-based charity, which provides school fees, 3 meals a day, school uniforms, school supplies, medical supplies, tutoring and a football club for children who don’t have families of their own.  They currently rent three houses in Jinja, two boys homes and one girls, which accommodate the children that don’t have families. These houses also act as a ‘youth centre’ for those who live in the slum village of Masese. 1 more child is Instant's nominated charity through fund raising and payroll giving.

Rob Hamilton, Instant's founder, commented “We’re all very much looking forward to the challenge although not without a degree of trepidation. It’s a huge undertaking but we’re all encouraging each other to get fit and ready for it. We’re overwhelmed by the support we’ve received and are delighted to have raised over £13,000 already for our nominated charity, 1morechild.”
