Instant take part in the summer sports event of the property calendar!

On 9^th July, Instant sportsmen competed in the 2010 King Sturge Property Triathlon at Dorney Lakes. Matt Watts, Dan Pittaway, Oliver Escritt, Adrian Love and Florian Kappes braved the hottest day of the year in their wetsuits and cycle shorts to take part.

Matt Watts and Dan Pittaway were once again able to complete the individual sprint events consisting of a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run in 1hr 27mins and 1hr 26mins respectively easily beating both of their previous best times around the course.  A new relay team called “The Spartans” led by Adrian Love in the swim, Oliver Escritt in the cycle and Florian Kappes in the run were able to set a very competitive time for the day at 1hr 25mins.

The team are deservedly very happy with their efforts under challenging conditions for a sprint distance triathlon, and took to the bar afterwards to sip on a well earned beer.  Next year Instant plan to have at least 10 individual competitors on the start line as we compete for the best time in the company and beat personal bests.
