In the recent Sunday Times annual report on the Best Companies to Work
For, Instant was ranked at number 23 in the league table of small businesses,
and was one of only 13 companies to feature for the 4th consecutive year.
On receiving the award, Rob Hamilton, our Chief Executive said “We are
all so proud to have been recognised in this way once again. Our focus on
making Instant a motivating, inspiring and enjoyable place to work pays
dividends in business success, and we firmly believe that this is reflected in
the service we offer our clients.”
At Instant we particularly pride ourselves on our low staff turnover –
nobody has left the company for over 6 months – which means that our clients
and partners can be sure of continuity of relationships and great on-going
service.
Instant was awarded 3 star status, the highest possible rating
based on feedback from employees.
The list is compiled using online surveys from all employees in the
relevant companies, information regarding staff turnover, benefits, flexibility
of workplace practices and an in-depth look at the values and ethics of a
business.
In addition, Instant was one of three companies nominated for the
special award for “Best for Innovation in Engagement Practise” for the ‘Lime
Green Standard’ – a set of guidelines for competencies and behaviours to drive
the business forward, that was designed collaboratively by everyone here. The
description of being ‘very Lime Green’ is a compliment that implies a colleague
has done something especially helpful or beyond the call of duty!
