1. Tell us a little bit about yourself
I have been at Instant since 1st October 2012, working in the Head Office in London. I have a background in corporate events and have been working as an account manager since I was 18 within a couple of different companies.
2. What is your role at Instant? What does that entail?
I am an account manager for the UK market. I cover the whole of the UK and work with clients looking for offices of all sizes, whether it’s a one person office or something much bigger. I can help them with regards to finding the right option, viewing the space and negotiating on the preferred office.
3. Why do you enjoy working for Instant?
The culture – Instant seems to employ the nicest people. Every day is good fun and extremely different from the last.
4. What are the most commonly asked questions in your line of work?
Where is it? How much is it?
5. What do you love about the city you work in?
London – it’s one of the greatest capital cities worldwide. With a vast selection of bars, restaurants and clubs, there is always something to do.
6. What would you say to people looking to rent office space in the areas you cover?
I would advise them to give me a call on +44 (0)20 7298 0657. I will try and answer any questions that they may have.
7. What are the main trends you have seen in the industry since you joined Instant?
In the years I have been here, I have seen the price of offices almost double, with the amount of available space reducing just as quickly. This has opened up the avenue of serviced offices to all types of companies, from SMEs to blue chip organisations. Not only is there a shift in who uses the space, but also what they use it for. Serviced offices can be used for short term project space, satellite offices or, most recently, a company’s head office that they are registered to. The main trend, however, is the increased trust that companies have in serviced offices.
