1. Tell us a little bit about yourself
I’ve worked at Instant for just over a year, and I am based in the London HQ in Southwark. Our HQ is in one of London’s newest office buildings, and it’s great to be working in the property market from this location – just behind the Tate Modern. My roles prior to Instant have generally been in sales in the B2B environment.
2. What is your role at Instant? What does that entail?
I’m an Account Manager for UK clients, specialising in the South West of England and London. My role involves understanding a client’s office requirements, identifying the perfect workspace for them and then helping them negotiate. I aim to be a trustworthy and knowledgeable source for the customers I help.
3. Why do you enjoy working for Instant?
It’s a successful, youthful and fast paced company. We are always adapting and trying to be the best at what we do. This ambition makes it an enjoyable and rewarding place to be. Also, knowing the future plans for the business, I know that I’m in the right place!
4. What are the most commonly asked questions in your line of work?
I am regularly asked about the availability and costs of office space in all areas of the UK, so it’s a good thing I have a good memory! Prices, in particular, can vary so much, so I always suggest getting out to take a look at the options.
5. What do you love about the city you work in?
There’s a constant buzz and great food options across town – I love that Borough market is near our office. London is full of history, which makes it a really interesting place to live too.

7. What are the main trends you have seen in the industry since you joined Instant?
The industry is growing pretty quickly. More and more companies are using flexible office spaces as it is much less hassle than contracting into a long term lease. It’s good to know that Instant is an industry leader in what we do and at the forefront of the serviced office market.
